Don't touch it if it ain't broken...

Preparations are slowly, too slowly progressing. Too many travels squeezed into the schedule before our departure.
While trying and investigating all seacocks and water inlet strainer units, I was pleased to find it very easy the undo the wing nut of the engine raw water strainer - until I discovered that I had the wing nut and the bolt (broken off) in my hand :-(. I could not find a bronze replacement unit on the net so far. However, my hopes are with the friendly Bowman Rustler lot in Falmouth. The Bank holiday can't be over fast enough.
