27/06/09 Rendsburg - Kieler Förde and Kieler Woche – and Easterlies to Burgtiefe on Fehmarn.
I don’t want to bore you, but again we battled Easterlies and Northeasterlies at our exit from the NOK (98.5 Km) directly into the hassle and bustle of the major yearly sailing event, the Kieler Woche.
We managed to avoid everything which floated and motor-sailed (uncomfortably!) towards the NE (the swell was appr. 2m) to Burgtiefe on Fehmarn, an island close to the Danish border. After a well buoyed – but unlit – channel we moored at 21:00 hrs to posts and bows to in the circular part of this large and secluded Marina with all necessary facilities. We now finished our lovely stew with a good glass of wine.
