The decision…

A possible scenario (Zoonar)

Today we have left Easy Rider cleaned, polished and pampered in the able hands of Steve and his team from Norrkust Marina, close to Haparanda in the Bay of Bothnia. After some soul searching and advice from Steve we have now made our decision on the question of inside or outside storage. This is how ER might look in the depth of the arctic winter.
On February 17, the area covered in ice expanded to 244,000km², marking the maximum area for the winter.

So, the decision is: inside storage. We in the UK are probably emotionally not ready to leave our treasured companions in the cold – and we have a good excuse: some work has to be done in a warmer environment. We are left off the hook! We will pick her up end of May or early June as soon as the 244000 square kilometres of thick ice  (according to the Swedish Ice Watch 2009/2010) have melted. See you next year!
