07/06/ Change of plans

The wind in the Solent did not play ball and rose to 26 - 28 knots from the East which could have made the bar in Chichester very uncomfortable/dangerous. So we had a lovely afternoon sail together with our friends Martin and Amanda on Indigo, a Sweden 390, to Haslar Marina in Gosport.
Amanda managed to capture Easy Rider and crew in full swing. We are still in Gosport waiting for a window to sail to Dover. Tomorrow seems to be all right for us with some SWlies becoming cyclonic. The rest of the week seems to bring strong Easterlies …so we don’t know how long we might have to stay in Dover before we can continue.
