11/06/09 Setting off for Den Helder…

As you will have realized yourselves, the weather has not been particularly clement in the last week. It certainly has not not helped our progress: the Lows are queuing like on the M25 over Scandinavia and UK and rain and Easterlies galore.

We still managed to reach Harwich and instead of exploring a bit of the East Coast, we decided to set off for Den Helder on Friday (12th) while the Easterlies are subsiding for a while. Attached a shot from a lovely Marina (Shotley Point Marina) though it depends a bit on the viewing angle. For the weather buffs, a map demonstrating the Lows.
