How do we get there?
When leaving Easy Rider at her 'cold storage' in Ösmo (near Nynäsham) we where convinced that it would be easy to return by plane the next year. To get along with 20 kilos (sorry for the 'stone' -age enthusiasts among you) per person should be an easy task.
The time of departure came closer and closer, and suddenly we asked ourselves: what are we going to do with all the heavy and large charts, the pilot books, the bits which may come handy, the books, the booze, the midge protection and, and, and...?
In one word; reality hit, or at least what we considered a reality. It was either to pay hefty for overweight or to take out our Swedish (now Chinese) car and show it its former country of origin.
This trip looks rather daunting (2240 km/1400 miles), but we hopefully will have a relaxing, sunny, exciting, mildly adventurous cruise therafter to recover.
We will let you know how we got on and whether it may be an experience never to be repeated...
