The mast is stepped, all systems go - and we are off.

After some extreme shopping early in the morning at Lidl and COOP (!) and just as extreme ‘headaches' to find some stowage space (how did we ever manage to sail with 4 people on board?) we finally set sail to Nynäshamn, a short hop from our winter storage place. BUT at least we have extricated ourselves from winter storage and the activities of the boat yard.

The mast is stepped up in the rain

At Nynäshamn we moored in an otherwise almost empty marina, except for 4 (!) UK registered sailing boats. Never have we seen such a concentration of 'Brits abroad' in these latitudes. Maybe the experience of the excellent Baltic weather has made the rounds in CA and RCC circles.
