First sight of Easy Rider after hibernation
After some detours due to the car GPS which could not cope with the roads and the remoteness of the boat yard, we arrived. And there she she was afloat in the water! Overjoyed we went to see her more closely and thought that there was something not quite right...Oh yes, the mast was missing!
A closer look revealed that there were a number of items not quite finished...and yes, there was a bird's nest in the exhaust, luckily the family had safely left the premises.
It was very cold this winter. The temperatures in the yard reached –42C in the yard and –10C in the boat shed. The last ice melted in April (or in May in the Gulf of Bothnia, just north of Stockholm). Today we are in T-shirts with +24C.
