Unfortunately the marine parts supplier promised more than they could deliver, and on Monday they still did not know when the pump would arrive and the frustration on our side mounted. So I set about to source a pump on the net and was successful. The pump was shipped the same day and arrived on Tuesday. Rodney with the patience of an angel and the hands of a piano player installed the pump successfully in a very tight space indeed. After a short trial we set off for a little anchorage not too far away – just in case….

While we were waiting, weather and wind changed dramatically and the wind blew from the direction we intended to go – the North - Northeast. After a night at anchor, on Wednesday we tried to go against the prevailing wind (5Bft) but had to admit defeat. We turned around and stayed overnight in a small and snug anchorage on the same island of Tunaolmen.
